One day a father and his rich family took his young son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose to show him how poor people can be. They spent a day and a night in the farm of a very poor family. When they got back from their trip the father asked his son,
"How was the trip?"
Very good, Dad!"
"Did you see how poor people can be?" the father asked.
"Yeah!" "And what did you learn?"

The son answered, "I saw that we have a dog at home, and they have four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of the garden, they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lamps in the garden, they have the stars. Our patio reaches to the front yard, they have a whole horizon.

When the little boy was finishing, his father was speechless. His son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are!" Isn't it true that it all depends on the way you look at things? If you have love, friends, family, health, good humor and a positive attitude toward life, you've got everything! You can't buy any of these things. You can have all the material possessions you can
imagine, provisions for the future, etc., but if you are poor of spirit, you have nothing!

(The short story is great but In relation to our business. Money can't buy happiness, but it sure can HELP pay for the things that could make you and your family happy. It's sure is better to cry inside a BMW rather than cry walking outside a rainy day. What matters most is how you SEE yourself. DREAM BIG!)

Once upon a time, there was a large mountainside, where an eagle’s nest rested. The eagle’s nest contained four large eagle eggs. One day an earthquake rocked the mountain causing one of the eggs to roll down the mountain, to a chicken farm, located in the valley below. The chickens knew that the must protect and care for the eagle’s egg, so an old hen volunteered to nurture and raise the large egg.  One day, the egg hatched and a beautiful eagle was born. Sadly, however, the eagle was raised to be a chicken. Soon, the eagle believed he was nothing more than a chicken. The eagle loved his home and family, but his spirit cried out for more. While playing a game on the farm one day, the eagle looked to the skies above and noticed a group of mighty eagles soaring in the skies. "Oh," the Eagle cried, "I wish I could soar like those birds." The chickens roared with laughter, "You cannot soar with those birds. You are a chicken and chickens do not soar." The eagle continued staring, at his real family up above, dreaming that he could be with them. Each time the eagle would let his dreams be known, he was told it couldn’t be done.  That is what the eagle learned to believe. The eagle, after time, stopped dreaming and continued to live his life like a chicken. Finally, after a long life as a chicken, the eagle passed away.

The moral of the story: You become what you believe you are; so if you ever dream to become an eagle FOLLOW your DREAMS, not the words of a chicken...

One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy:

TEACHER: Tommy do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes
TEACHER: Do you see the grass outside? Motivational Stories  Page 5
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.
TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.
TEACHER: Did you see God?
TOMMY: No.
TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because He isn't there. He doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions. The teacher agreed and
the little girl asked the boy:

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yessssss (getting tired of the questions by this time).
LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?
TOMMY: Yessssss
LITTLE GIRL: Do you see the teacher?
TOMMY: Yes
LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?
TOMMY: No
LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school she must not
have one

Jesus often told a story to teach a lesson. Hear the story of the talents. One day a man was going on a long trip. He needed his servants to take care of his property while he was gone, so he called them to him.To the first servant he gave five talents of money. (A talent was not a coin, but a weight of a precious metal such as silver, and one talent was worth more than $1,000. So this servant received money worth more than $5,000.)This man went to work at once using his money until he had doubled it. He now had ten talents instead of five. The master gave the second man two talents. He probably thought the man was capable of managing that amount of money. The second man was successful also, and doubled his money. He began with more than $2,000 and now he had twice as much. The third man was not as capable as the other two, but the master gave him one talent with the expectation that he would manage it well. He, too, could have increased his money, but he dug a hole and hid it in the ground. After a long time the master returned. He was ready for a report from the servants. The man who had received five talents brought his money and showed the master that he had doubled it. He was happy to show his master the results. The master was well pleased. He said, "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!"The man that had been given two talents showed the master that he had also doubled his money. He received the same words of praise as the first man who had received five talents. The man who had received one talent dug up the talent he had buried and brought it to the master. He accused the master of being a hard man to work for, said he had been afraid, so he just buried his talent. He gave it back to the master saying, "See, here is what belongs to you."The master was very angry with him and called him a wicked, lazy servant. He said the man should at least have put the money with bankers and received some interest. The master took his one talent away from him and gave it to the man who had ten talents, and the one talent man was punished because he had not properly used the talent he had been given.

What can we learn from this story? We need to use whatever "talent" God has given us. It might be money or ability. If we use it wisely, He will increase it so that our lives will glorify Him.

(my OWN thoughts and reflection with this parable: the first 2 servants did GREAT because they believe on their abilities and capabilities. They took the RISK not because of fear but because they knew that they can MAKE things happen. The 3rd servant did the exact opposite. Although he was given a TALENT, which all of us has. The 3rd servant followed his FEAR instead of taking action. He buried not only his talent but along with it his precious DREAMS... and made EXCUSES instead of pursuing what is RIGHTFULLY his...)

A flood was threatening a small town and everyone was leaving for safety except one man who said, "God will save me. I have faith." As the water level rose a jeep came to rescue him, the man refused, saying "God will save me. I have faith." As the water level rose further, he went up to the second storey, and a boat came to help him. Again he refused to go, Belying, "God will save me. I have faith." The water kept rising and the man climbed on to the roof. A helicopter came to rescue him, but he said, "God will save me. I have faith." Well, finally he drowned. When he reached his Maker he angrily questioned, "I had complete faith in you. Why did you ignore my prayers and let me drown?" The Lord replied, "Who do you think sent you the jeep, the boat, and the helicopter?"

The only way to overcome the fatalistic attitude is to accept responsibility and believe in the law of cause and effect rather than luck.

It takes action, preparation and planning rather than waiting, wondering or wishing, to accomplish anything in life. (source: Joel Torrejas Facebook Page)

To realize the value of one year:
Ask a student who has failed a final exam.

To realize the value of one month:
Ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of one week:
Ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of one hour:
Ask two lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of one minute:
Ask a person who has missed the bus, train, or plane.

To realize the value of one second:
Ask a person who has survived an accident.

To realize the value of one millisecond:
Ask the person who has won a silver medal in the Olympics...

With this in mind, I would strongly suggest that today, you begin your journey toward personal and financial freedom. Because time is waiting for no one.... and our DREAMS will come true as soon as we MAKE things happen... a great day to all! :)

Long ago, in a land not so far away, a King had a large boulder placed upon a roadway. He then hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge stone.

To his surprise, many of the King's wealthiest merchants came along and simply chose to walk around it... Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but no one even attempted to move this massive hindrance out of the way.

By and by, a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden, and tried to move the stone to one side of the road. After much toil, pushing and straining, he finally succeeded.

As the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying on the road where he had displaced the immense rock... The purse contained many gold coins, along with a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway.

That day the peasant learned what many will never understand—that every obstacle presents an OPPORTUNITY to improve one's condition. Indeed, it could be argued that all of us have something in our way... And, too, all of us have the same choice—accept things as they are, or "MAKE A CHANGE". Now that you have been introduced to our business, that CHOICE belongs to you....
